Get Involved

Rebuild Our Sierra is the fundraising campaign and ongoing rebuild effort supported by the Shaver Lake Visitors Bureau. Our goal is to unify fundraising efforts and distribute immediate funds as necessary to rebuild all of the communities and families affected by this fire.

Tiny Home Program

Rebuild Our Sierra has partnered with the national non-profit OperationTinyHome ( and we are working to bring assistance to those who have lost their homes in the Creek Fire. Our first tiny home will be going to a veteran who lost everything in the fire! He's been crashing on friends couches ever since. Thanks to Operation Tiny Home, all we need is $30K to get our Veteran into his Tiny Home. We have raised $15,000 of what we need and are in need of another $15,000 to get him back onto his property. Please donate today if you can! We are in the process now of identifying candidates who may be interested in a Tiny Home either as a temporary way to remain on their property while they rebuild or people who are interested in assistance with building a small-footprint home. If you would like to be considered, please fill out the application at the below button and email it to us at

Are you or someone you know from our mountains or foothills and make something cool like soaps, jewelry, pottery, scarves, wood carvings etc? Do you or someone you know own a local business that could donate a gift certificate?

Rebuild Our Sierra is building a "Locals Gift Basket" to auction off this spring.

We already have gift certificates from Seasons, Pub 'N Grub, Trading Post and more secured.
